The easiest and least expensive time to protect a home from termites is while it's being built. Jason is an accredited installer of the Termicoat termite management system.
Termicoat is applied once the frame is up. It covers the slab edge, the bottom plate and 300mm up each stud around the whole perimeter, and the slab penetrations are treated at the same time. There's no waiting on collars before the slab is poured.
The trades can keep working while it goes on. Applied by a registered installer, Termicoat comes with a lifetime treated structural warranty, subject to its terms and conditions.

Once the frame is up. The slab penetrations are done at the same time as the perimeter, so there's no need to fit collars before the pour.
